Colorful Layered Fragments!
Sponsored by eclectic Paperie
Happy Monday, everyone!
I'm a little stunned at the realization that, including this week, we have only eight challenges to go. Gosh, I hope Tim writes a sequel to the Compendium soon! It's such a treat to share this journey with you all, and to be so uplifted and inspired by the talent you share.
Sweet Daisy from eclectic Paperie has put together an incredible prize for this week's winner! Check this out:
Everything you need to keep making gorgeous Colorful Layered Fragments for a long time to come. And, that stamp set is RAD!
To be eligible to win this fantabulous prize package from eclectic Paperie, simply create your own art using the Colorful Layered Fragments technique and link it to this blog via the InLinkz button at the bottom of this post. You're in the running as long as you honor these two simple rules:
1. Follow the technique as it's written in A Compendium of Curiosities (adding your own special flair, of course!); and
2. Out of respect to Tim, please don't post the technique instructions on your blog!
Gloria, the lovely List Mom at the All Things Tim group at Yahoo, will also send a lovely gift from her special stash to one lucky participant! Just upload your image to the Compendium of Curiosities folder at the ATT home page, and be sure to tag your photo "CCC #28." If you aren't a member of All Things Tim, please check it out! You'll never find a nicer group of Tim fans.
Challenge 28 is open until 8 pm MST next Sunday, January 23, and I can't wait to see your Distress Misting Masks art! I hope you all have a truly wonderful week, and if you're enjoying a 3-day weekend, get extra inky!
Hugs,
Linda

Well done to last week's winners - and Linda, your work today is wonderful. I think today's challenge will be a fun one! Only 8 more to go - what will we do on a Monday after that!! (sleep, maybe?!)
thanks to this week's sponsors - what an awesome prize.
Only eight?!! I'll be bereft after we're done, I tell ya! Maybe I'll spend my Mondays making Tim's past Christmas tags. That'll keep me busy for 36 weeks; plenty of time for him to write and publish another book, right?
Beautiful example, Linda, as always. Love the butterflies; may have to steal that idea. :)
Luv this Linda, it's ready for my wall!
Whoo Hoo! This one looks fun. You did a fab job Linda. Just adore those colorful butterflies. Most probably will post on Sunday, as usual:)
Linda, that card is so pretty! The butterfly fragments came out beautifully!

Only eight weeks :-( This has been such an incredible ride and I sure hope the journey continues! Thank you again for all that you have done for us! Oh boy, colorful layered fragments and maybe I will be able to ink without sliding!!! Beautiful example card! Have a great day my friend!
Loving your butterflies Linda, oh so pretty, and a nice subtle corner touch too :D
Linda love your butterflies. I have never done this technique, so I'm looking forward to getting in there and trying it out.
Oh Linda! Your butterflies are amazing! What a great piece! I'm so bummed there are only 8 more weeks! It'll be warmer by then, and I won't have to rush through my pieces! LOL!
Gorgeous example, Linda. Love how you used three Timmy butterflies, your coloring is awesome!
I love it Linda!! Hmm I believe I have some empty frames around here somewhere :-)
This challenge finally got me in gear to do a box I've been wanting to do for months, thank you!
Linda love the bright butterflies! They look like you've got a butterfly collection under glass! What a cool effect! Once again, fabulous card! *high five*

I love your royal butterfly garden, Linda!
I love your gorgeous piece of art Linda, it's so beautiful! I can't believe that this is nearly at the end and failing TH writing another book I think you'll have to start at the beginning again because we'll all miss the challenge too much :D Hugs, Chris.
I really hope he writes a sequel too Linda!! Monday's just won't seem the same otherwise!
Your artwork is so pretty, I love the colourful butterflies! xx
How beautiful and summer-like! It's like a page from a scrapbook. So natural and pretty. Thanks for sharing this wonderful piece, Linda! Very inspiring! Theresa
Beeeeeautiful butterflies, Linda! This was a really fun technique; so sad that we're almost finished.
Only eight left !!!! I've only just started to join in and really loving it.
Your butterflies are beautiful Linda.
Linda: your piece came out so, so nice!
This was one challenge that I had to give up. I ruined three fragments trying to get the ink to dry. Tried Archival and even Stazon. It just smeared off. I couldn't get the alcohol inks to colour smoothly either..they just went into blobs. Perhaps there is some sort of coating on the batch of fragments that I recently got???

~Baaad Hels should sit in the corner... I cheated.. but only to save my hair... it was being pulled out in clumps ROFL FAB prize.. LOVE those stamps I haven't got them (wink wink... could #22 be lucky ROFL)

Your piece is gorgeous! Those butterflies "under glass," with the text and the grassy reeds below remind me of a vintage biology book!
Everything you create makes me breathe deeply and dream ...
Great piece Linda, I love the butterfly fragments, your colours on the fragments came out perfect. Can't believe we are working towards the end of the challenge, you will have to think of something else for us to do on a Monday LOL. Enjoy your week. Tracy Evans x x
Your card is so pretty! I love the circles highlighting the butterflies. I finally got a chance to do mine today - just in the nick of time! :-)
Thank you for the lovely inspiration, your butterflies are gorgeous! And thanks for hosting this challenge, Linda; we are all going to suffer withdrawal when its over! cheers!
A beautiful piece. The butterflies are gorgeous.

So glad I have finally had a chance to play in the CCC after weeks of pressing my nose up to the window! I too had my problems with this particular technique but was happy with the result in the end. Your butterflies are lovely!
